Rustic philosophy & digital homesteading
Welcome to my digital cabin. This isn't a blog so much as a collection of notes, half-formed ideas, and the occasional clear thought that makes it through the filter.
Recent ponderings:
Started reading Shop Class as Soulcraft. There's something about working with your hands that clarifies thinking. Maybe we need more digital "shop class" – places to build and fix things instead of just consume.
Rebuilt the chicken coop today. Made me think about website maintenance. Both need regular attention, occasional repairs, and protection from predators (digital or otherwise).
Added this guestbook section. I figure if someone makes the journey out here to this corner of the web, they should be able to leave their mark. Sign below if you're so inclined.

This website is hand-coded HTML/CSS because I believe in understanding the tools you use. It's hosted on Neocities because I like supporting independent web infrastructure. It's simple because complexity should be a choice, not a default.
You won't find ads here, or trackers, or pop-ups. Just words on a page. If that appeals to you, you're welcome to pull up a virtual rocking chair and stay awhile.
